hampton water rose grilled mushrooms

Braising with white wine? So yesterday.

Braising in the oven? Only during a rainstorm.

‘round here we like to braise with rose, and on the grill.

Ingredients:

1 clamshell crimini mushrooms, halved and stemmed

1 Tbsp evoo

2 pinches of salt

2 stems of rosemary, leaves pulled off

1 cup beef broth

1 cup rose

Directions:

Preheat grill to

Add mushrooms to a grill safe pan. Toss with evoo, salt and rosemary to coat. Add broth and rose. I like to use hampton water rose - because you know, as I always say… you want to cook with wine that is something you enjoy drinking.

Grill on the top shelf, until mushrooms are tender and liquid has reduced.
