quick tip: chips and salsa
While chips may seem like a entertaining cop out, let me assure you they are not. At least, not if you accompany them with a selection of different salsas and guacamole.
You can buy said salsa’s or, you can make your own (obviously my choice), but the most important part is to vary the type and color.
And coincidentally, salsas come in reds and greens, which makes them the perfect choice for xmas eve or christmas.
And is the perfect chance for me to unveil my newest salsa recipe.
Ingredients:
28oz diced fire roasted tomatoes
juice of 2 limes
2 cloves of garlic, peeled
handful of cilantro
1 fresh tomato
1/2 onion rough chopped
1 jalapeño, seeded, stemmed, and rough chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Directions:
Pulse all ingredients together in a food processor.
