watermelon cucumber mojito

Doesn’t a mojito just feel like the quintessential summer drink? Especially when flavored with fresh watermelon and cucumber alongside the traditional mint and lime juice.

Just me? Maybe you’ll have to try it and prove me wrong.

Ingredients:

4 mint leaves

handful fresh watermelon chunks, peeled

handful fresh sliced and peeled cucumbers

3 oz white rum

1 oz watermelon liquor

1 oz cucumber simple syrup

1 english cucumber, sliced

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup honey

bring water and honey to a boil, whisk to combine, pour over sliced cucumbers, refrigerate overnight

handful of ice

topo chico sparkling water

juice 1/2 lime

triangle slice of watermelon coated in tajin

Directions:

Add 3 leaves of mint, watermelon, and cucumber to a shaker. Muddle.

Add rum, liquor, and syrup.

Add a handful of ice. Shake until chilled.

Pour into glass.

Add handful of ice to glass, top with a float of topo chico (about 1/3 of the bottle), lime juice, a mint leaf and the tajin coated watermelon.
