western bacon hotdog

You’ve had a western bacon cheeseburger… I mean heck, it’s the hubs favorite burger from carls jr. But have you had a western bacon hotdog?

I have one kiddo who is obsessed with bbq on hotdogs. Like every single time. Always with the bbq.

So it got me thinking about creating a bacon wrapped dog, with all the sauces - ranch and bbq - and the crispy onion rings, and the melty american cheese.

I love the “delux” american cheese. It a) tastes richer than the other… reminiscent of in-and-out, and similar fast food restaurants… so ya know - authentic, and b) It is not individually wrapped so so much easier on you.

Also… when looking for hotdogs these days, I’m super picky. Don’t want extra fillers, no antibiotics, no hormones, want all meat and 100 percent natural. Which is why I am so thankful to have found coleman all natural meats. You can seriously taste the difference. Plus, no pesky headaches from too much processed “stuff.” But I digress…

Let’s talk about the perfect bbq’d dog.

Ingredients:

1 pack hickory smoked bacon, I use coleman’s

pre-cooked hotdogs, I use coleman’s
