sake sangria
Another day, another sangria.
And this one, is a good one. Perfect for sushi night’s at home, or make your own poke bowl bars.
Ingredients:
5 assorted plums, pitted and sliced
2 limes, sliced
1 cup chopped cucumber
handful fresh cilantro
1/3 cup honey simple syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
heat honey and water over medium heat, until honey has melted and completely combined
1 bottle dry sake
sparkling water, cucumber flavor
Directions:
Add plums, limes, cucumbers, and cilantro to a pitcher.
Add honey simple, and stir to coat.
Let refrigerate for 2 hours.
Add bottle of sake. Stir to combine.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until ready to serve.
Add soaked fruit to glasses. Fill cups 2/3 full with sake. Top with a float of sparkling water.
