mimosa 75

So y’all know how much I love a french 75. Prolly my favorite mixed drink. Not to mention, my love of bubbles… so how much fun did I have when I was invited to a food launch and mimosa making contest at the broken yolk?

Our mimosa was a riff on a french 75, turned mimosa, and ramped up with some fresh mint and pomegranate.

Ingredients:

4oz lemonade

turbinado sugar

8 mint leaves

10 pomegranate seeds

8oz sparkling wine

Directions:

Dip 2 chilled champagne glasses into lemonade. Rim with sugar.

Muddle 4 mint leaves in each glass.

Add lemonade, sparkling wine, and then pomegranates.
