red robinish sweet tartar sauce
So, I don’t typically share this with most people, but when the hubs and I first started dating, we went to red lobster a lot. Mostly because it was affordable, also because of the biscuits, and definitely not because of the fish. However, they do make a mean tartar sauce.
It’s slightly sweeter than most and has an addition of grated carrots that add an unexpected flavor pop.
I’ve put my own spin on it, but this version is pretty darn close.
Ingredients:
1 cup mayo
2 1/2 Tbsp sour cream
3 Tbsp minced white onion
2 Tbsp grated carrot
3 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbs capers, rough chopped
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together until mixed.
