Looking for a quick and easy appetizer that’s as delicious to eat as it is beautiful to look out.

It’s the perfect new years eve starter, equally as fitting for a sit down dinner, buffet, or as part of a larger charcuterie board.

For that matter, it’s really the perfect bite for any occasion.

Ingredients:

8oz burrata, in two 4oz balls

3 baby figs, quartered

4oz prosciutto

1 Tbsp evoo

1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

basil

Directions:

Tear apart burrata, and spread out over plate.

Scatter pears around the burrata.

Top with pieces of burrata.

Drizzle with evoo and balsamic.

Top with basil leaves. I like to use the tiny leaves at the tops of basil stems.
