peach whiskey sauce
Whisky? Peaches? What could be a better combo, especially during peach season.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp ghee
1/2 yellow onion, grated
3 white peaches, pitted and chopped
1 cup whiskey
pinch of salt
Directions:
In a medium sized sauce pan, melt ghee over medium heat. Add onions, and sauté until softened.
Add peaches, whisky and salt and bring to boil. Once boiling, reduce to simmer.
Simmer for 30 -45 minutes. Remove from heat.
Use an immersion blender to fully combine and break peaches down completely.
