salmon tartare
I could eat this dish every single day. No joke. It’s really that good.
What’s even better, is that it is so simple to make, that you will fool everyone with your mad kitchen skills. This is the dish to pull out when you want to impress.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup sashimi grade salmon
1 Tbsp minced cilantro
1 Tbsp chopped capers
2 tsp grainy mustard
1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp minced shallots
juice 1/2 lime
1/2 tsp salt
creme fraiche and diced chives to top
Directions: In a medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients except for creme fraiche and chives. Mix gently until thoroughly combined.
Use a circular mold (cookie cutter or biscuit round) to plate. Top with spoonful of crem fraiche and sprinkle of chives.
Serves 2.
