quick tip: easy weeknight marinades

You guys all know I love a good marinade. I love making a good marinade. I love being in control of the flavors in a dish… but, can I tell you a secret?

Sometimes, after homeschooling 4 kids all day, working on different projects, recipe developing/testing, housecleaning and daily living, I just don’t feel like making a marinade from scratch.

Especially when I still have a list for the day that needs to be completed. On those day’s it’s so much easier to use a premade marinade to flavor up some meat, and send it out to the grill.

My absolute favorite premade marinades are made by primal kitchen. I love them, because there is no sugar added, they are keto, and whole30 friendly (in some cases even vegan) and full of real ingredients. I feel that by using them, I’m getting as close to a homemade marinade as I possibly can get… so it alleviates the guilt.

The sesame ginger is amazing with pork.

The greek and balsamic are fantastic with chicken.

I’ve done the bbq ranch for shredded chicken sandwiches.

Want some wings? Throw on the buffalo.

Seriously people, there’s such a variety, and it’s one way to make your weeknight meal struggle just a little bit easier.
