quick tip: halloween snacks
One of my favorite things to do for my kiddos’ school celebrations, is to maked themed platters for their classrooms. It’s so fun to bring in sacks perfect for any occasion.
These are my favorite halloween snacks.
Mini pumpkins: Chop a celery rib into tiny pieces to mimic stem. Peel mandarin oranges. Place tiny piece of celery inside center of each orange, so that a tiny bit pokes out and mimics the pumpkin stem.
Banana ghosts: Peel each banana, and cut in half. Place on cut center. Insert 2 mini chocolate chips and one regular chocolate chips in top part of banana to make eyes and opened mouth.
Snack Pumpkin: Arrange baby carrots in a pumpkin shape. Place tops of several celery ribs at the top to mimic the stem. Use black olives to create eyes, nose, and mouth.
Frankenstein: Arrange sugar snap peas on plate in a rounded rectangle shape. Use black olives to create bolts, hair, eyes and mouth.
