sweet and sour sauce
Ingredients:
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fish sauce
1/8 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp sambal
1/2 Tbsp worcestershire
2 Tbsp hot water
1 1/2 Tbsp tapioca powder
4 Tbsp ketchup
3 Tbsp tangarine juice
1 tsp minced ginger
1 Tbsp evoo
Directions:
In a sauce pan combine mirin, rice wine vinegar, 1 cup water, sugar, salt, fish sauce, white pepper, sambal, and worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil.
Create a slurry by mixing hot water and tapioca powder until combined. Add to boiling mixture.
Whisk to combine and stir until thickened.
Add ketchup, tangarine juice, ginger and evoo. Stir ‘til combined and remove from heat.
