coffee cake bread dough
Ingredients:
2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water (multiple use)
1/4 cup sugar + 2 pinches (multiple use)
3 3/4 cup bread flower
1 tsp sea salt
avocado oil
Directions:
Whisk yeast, 2 pinches of the sugar, and 1/4 cup water in mixer bowl. Let stand for 10 - 15 minutes until mixture foams and rises creating a dome. Whisk in remaining water. Add flour, remaining sugar, and salt, add to mixer bowl.
Using the dough hook, mix together on low for 5 minutes.
Remove dough from bowl, and coat inside of bowl with avocado oil. Rub outside of dough with vegetable oil and place back in bowl. Cover bowl with a kitchen towel and let rise until doubled in size (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
