One of my oldest and dearest friends was in town, and while we were drinking all the gin drinks and talking about our love of gin, she shared with me a kitsch gin she had found on the east coast.

Barr hill.

Apparently it’s infused with honey. Which is all I needed to go on a deep dive and try to find it locally. Which I did.

And then of course, I had to make a drink out of it.

And by the by, it’s delish on its own.

Ingredients:

8 fresh blackberries

2 oz barr hill gin

crushed ice

club soda

Directions:

Muddle together blackberries and gin in a collins glass.

Add crushed ice.

Fill glass with club soda and serve.
