out and about: bazille at nordstrom utc
File this one under ladies who lunch.
And one of our favorite spots to lunch is the relatively new restaurant at the utc nordstrom.
The food is great, and if you sit outside, you’ve got a great view of the mall.
You don’t even have to go shopping. We’ve been know just to head out for the food alone.
They have a great selection of mocktails; and a great cocktail list that includes a french 75 that’s up there as one of my favorites.
Pro tip: order at least one per person, or you will find yourself fighting over every last bite of the biscuit.
Also, you might have to get extra butter, because there are chives, some sort of garlic, along with sea salt, and it’s amazing.
Who doesn’t love a crab salad? And this? is fresh, large pieces of crab that haven’t been tossed in mayo or vinegar… the crab is just allowed to shine alone.
The dressing is light and perfect, as is the mango avocado combo. Rounded out with tomatoes and crisp onions… and you’ve got yourself a salad.
This is the tzatziki sauce that made avy fall in love with tzatziki and greek salmon. Not my own, mind you. This one. I’m still bitter about it. But I digress.
The salmon is perfectly cooked in greek herbs, and works exceptionally well with both the sauce and the couscous.
The entire menu is amazing, and definitely worth a try.
