quick tip: dipper tray

I’ve waxed poetic about charcuterie spreads before… great way to feed a crowd and keep everyone happy.

Now I’m going to talk about their little sister, the dipper tray.

Y’all know I love a good dip, be it artichoke, beer cheese, or buffalo chicken. But what’s equally important to the dip, is the dippers you have on the side.

The key? More than one dipper. Gone are the days of bread bowls with dips inside and torn bread outside… and that’s it. Up your game with dipper options. I like a selection of breads and or crackers, and lots of crisp veggies. The type of dip will dictate what types of veggies or breads I include.

Pro tip… add some additional cold dips alongside the hot dip for an even bigger mix-and-match variety. Nobody gets bored, and everyone can find something that they like.

This particular platter was served with a jalapeño cheese dip (stay tuned), included a ranch and onion dip, and was served along side a basket of 1/2 tortilla chips and 1/2 wavy potato chips. Literally something for everyone.
