fancy af mimosa

Is brunch season officially a thing? Because I totally think it is, and it starts now. When the temps are slowly coming down, and it’s not too hot to stuff yourself silly on food and drinks while leisurely hanging outside for hours on end.

And if you’re gonna have brunch, you might as well do it right. With the fanciest mimosa around.

Ruby red grapefruit zested simple syrup. Enough said.

Ingredients:

Blanc de noir sparkling wine (I prefer gloria ferrer)

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 Tbsp ruby red grapefruit zest

1 ruby red grapefruit cut into 8ths

Directions:

Pour champs halfway up glass. Add 1oz simple syrup and juice of 1 grapefruit segment. Repeat for each serving.
