s'mores rice krispies

I mean, who doesn’t love rice krispy treats?

In my case, they are prolly the only dessert I can’t resist. No joke.

And, while the original verson is still the goat; this s’more flavored one is no joke. A browned-butter base, melty marshmallows, and melty chocolate. What can be better?

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter (8Tbsp)

2 packages of jumbo marshmallows (20 oz)

9 cups of rice krispies

hershey’s milk chocolate bars (enough to cover the bottom of a 9 x 11 pan)

Directions:

Butter a 9 x 11 pan. Place hershey bars to completely cover bottom of the pan.

In a large stock pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir consistently until butter turns a golden brown. Turn heat down to low and add marshmallows to browned-butter. Continue to stir until marshmallows have melted.

Remove pan from heat and add rice krispies. Stir to combine.

Pour mixture into buttered pan, over top of chocolate.

Since the krispy mixture is hot, chocolate will melt.

Set aside to cool. Then, cut into squares.
