classic grilled chicken breasts

If you only have one grilled chicken recipe in your repertoire, this is the one you want. While dried herbs give it tons of flavor, it’s mild enough to make it completely versatile, yet complex enough to stand on it’s own.

It will work equally as well topping salads, inside sandwiches, even mixed with pastas.

Ingredients:

5 chicken breasts, butterflied (fancy way of saying cut the breasts in half lengthwise to make the chicken thinner and grill faster)

1/4 cup avocado oil

1/2 Tbsp dried basil

1/2 Tbsp dried italian parsley

1 Tbsp onion salt

1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Preheat grill to high heat.

In a large bowl combine all ingredients, making sure to coat all chicken breasts with spices and oil.

Cook chicken for 15 minutes, flipping repeatedly to prevent burning.
