grilled asparagus

While I know many people who won’t eat asparagus because of the, eh-hem, “changes” it makes to your body (janice, I’m looking at you), I enjoy the subtle flavor of the actual vegetable too much to completely eliminate it from my diet.

Also?!? The kids all eat it… so there’s that.

This is asparagus at its finest. Simple, clean, barely grilled, still slightly crisp with minimal fuss.

Ingredients:

1 bunch of asparagus

2 Tbsp evoo

1 tsp salt

Directions:

Preheat grill to high.

Cook for 10 minutes directly on and perpendicular to the grates, turning often.

Remove and serve.
