quick tip: grow basil indoors.

I don’t know about you, but I learned a lot more about gardening during quarantine.

I’ve always had some sort of garden at what ever home I’ve lived in, since I was a little girl. What I know, is what I learned from my grandparents and their gardens, and after years of self experimentation. Which is to say, not all that much, officially.

But there are a few things I learned, that I didn’t know before.

For example, basil grows best indoors. I now have a “live” basil plant that I got from the grocery store, who’s leaves I have pulled more times than I can count, living in a mug, on my kitchen window sill. And that basil plant? Is from March 2020. No joke.
