quick tip: feed picky or multiple eaters with food bars
I absolutely refuse to cook to individual order. You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit. Which, while the right approach, can make it slightly difficult to ensure that multiple eaters with varied food preferences all eat a healthy and well balanced meal.
Everyone has varied tastes with regard to proteins, fruits and vegetables. No two are the same. This can make mealtime “challenging” to say the least.
My favorite way to make one meal for everyone, but to ensure that there is something for everyone, is to make bar dinners. Taco bars, baked potato bars, make your own pizza bars, sushi bar, salad bars, breakfast bars, bagel bars… we do them all.
This is by far the best way to cook one meal, but to offer variety, and allow everyone to eat the foods that best appeal to them, while simultaneously making my live easier by not having to cook multiple meals in one sitting.
It’s also a great way to entertain family and friends.
